Proud App Reviews

Love it!

Ive been using this app for five minutes and love it already. Its just what I needed for reminders and such. The reminders app in the iPhone schedules tasks and to dos and things get confused and doubled. Perhaps its user error, but this app is way more user friendly. Plus, I love all the inspirational quotes!

Unique features!

Love the boost of positive feedback when I complete a task! Its fun to use and gives a little burst of positive energy to my to do list

Simply brilliant.

Ive been looking for an app to get myself organized and focus. I tried out so many apps, this is the only one that does EVERY THING that I was looking for. Kudos to the team, brilliant app to say the least.

Horrible!

This app is overly complicated and not intuitive. It causes more frustration than its worth. Save your money.

Nice App!!!

Is there a way to sync between devices?? Its a grt app. Dont know why people are complaining. I have been using it for couple of weeks and already started started noticing my productivity jump high. Grt job team "Proud".

Do Not Download!

After syncing my Reminders and turning off the iCloud sync it erased ALL my reminders in both Proud and the Reminders app!!! (Additionally, it crashed almost every time I tried to use it.)

Fantastic "revealed complexity" design!

Amazing app design! I just downloaded it as the free Starbucks app, and Im blown away by the simplicity of the app in use, but also in the depth of available settings if you need to go looking for them. Support for a host of Apple technologies (TouchID, iCloud syncing, Apple Watch, etc.). The superpower features are absolutely amazing in both their design (a gorgeous break from the linear nature of the use portion of the app) and function. In particular, Ive always felt that productivity apps should be able to show you not only what you need to do, but what you HAVE DONE... because its too easy to start feeling like the mountain is only growing, not getting accomplished. I do wish that it utilized the space on the iPad to show a more capable UI than just stretching the iPhone UI (one of the things I find really compelling about Things, OmniFocus, etc. is that iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions each have increasing complexity and capability, according to their size and platform); Im hoping thatll come in an upcoming release.

Too confusing for me.

Ive used a few to-do apps, but this one either isnt working or is too hard to figure out.

So much better than the Reminders Default App!

I love this app so much! The interface is much more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. Very customizable to your tastes with dependable reminders unlike default iPhone Alarms and Reminders. Also gives you a great sense of accomplishment when youve completed a task. Excellent for making sublists within a list. Tasks easily edited. Also great tips/ sessions for de-stressing and productivity.

fantastic application

this is seriously the best way to organize responsibilities and projects. fluid UI, tons of setting to tweak how the app works to your own beat.

Great App

I recommend this app for the ability to do so much in the app. You are able to effectively manage projects and everyday tasks all in one place.

top notch

so great!!! the best to do list app Ive used to date. simple design that makes organizing easy

Create reminders for any interval

Ive used a lot of reminder apps... Almost none of them let you schedule a reminder for every 3 days or every 2 weeks. Proud does!! It also has many options for setting up how your reminders work, whether theyre locked to a certain time or can be pushed off for later, what time do you want "afternoon" and "evening" to mean. I like customization :) They responded *super* quickly & helpfully to a feedback email, I would recommend sending them a note if you encounter any trouble at all.

I tried them all. And dropped them all for THIS app.

During my life in the corporate world, during my years as a "drop out", and now as an author, body/mind coach and "live different" adept I have used about every time planning and productivity tool on the market - from paper based Time/system to Lotus Notes, from Tasktimer to Franklin stuff, and so on... If you are changing your life, want to be productive, work in a "digital nomad" style and outside of corporate confinements - then you probably dont want clutter, "industry standards", over-complicated project management, Gantt charts and a dominant calendar filled with "meetings". You dont want a dumb "task list" either. PROUD has as little overhead as possible, some really unique features (check out screens and video introduction!), is beautifully minimalist in its design - and it freaking WORKS. It does exactly what I need it to do, it reminds me, it keeps me on track, it helps me to focus, it helps to track/establish habits, etc.pp. - and all that without annoying me and getting in my way. Nuff said. My longest review ever. Sorry. :D But had to be said. Now hit that buy button. It is a steal. P.S.: very helpful and friendly devs, they know what they are doing, app-wise and in their methodology. This will only get better!

Excellent

Exactly the tool I was looking for. Having everything in one app is fantastic.

App crashes on launch

I feel like Ive wasted my money because this app will not even run. IOS 8.4....

Fantastic

This app puts many of my productivity strategies into one beautiful package. This is very impressive for a first launch. Looking forward to further updates. Would recommend highly! Great work by the devs.

Most frustrating app

I just spent some considerable time and effort trying to figure out how Im supposed to use this app and have come to the conclusion its useless. The instructions are confusing and nothing is intuitive. The watch app seems equally pointless. Waste of time and money.

Lots of hype

Waste of money for the app which works like in beta.

Completely unusable

Update: This app is a joke. Theyve released an update with some Apple Watch fixes but does nothing for the phone app. Do not purchase this app in its current state. You will waste your money get no use from it. Pure hype with no useful functionality and loaded with bugs. In its present state this app should not be for sale in the App Store. Data disappears. The UI is unstable and malfunctions continuously when adding items. Badge counts are wrong. Crashes. I could go on and on. Do not buy this app in its current version. It has some potential but there are so many issues it is a complete waste of money. Ive tried many iOS task managers over the years and seldom have seen one with this many bugs. Beyond that, even though I did a bit of research before buying there are some fundamental issues that make no sense. Quick example: You have a list called "Health". Create a task "Call Doctor". Schedule it - it goes into the Reminders section but at that point it completely and permanently loses ANY connection to "Health". If you try to move it back into the Health List, you cant. Instead it creates a brand new top level list called "Call Doctor". This is completely nonsensical ! Needs some serious fine tuning. Also No search (including Spotlight).
